Building & Driveway Permits
Permit for driveway access to Town road
All driveway entries onto a Town road shall be reviewed by the Town Road Foreman, Town Chairman or designee to evaluate the need for installation of a culvert. Cost of the culvert is at the expense of the developer/property owner.
Any driveways on County or State Roads shall be constructed according to the specifications and regulation of those jurisdictions.
The applicant shall place flags or markers in the ditch, visible from the roadway of the proposed driveway. When the flags or markers are in place, contact the Town Clerk at 715-592-6600. The Town clerk will notify the Town Road Foreman to set up an appointment to inspect the proposed driveway. When the proposed driveway is approved, the applicant will complete the driveway permit and return to the Town Clerk for completion with $25 permit fee.

If this is a new residence driveway, the Town Road Foreman will assign a fire number to be used for the new address.
Burning Permits
Burning permits are required until the ground is completely snow covered. Burning permits are free and easy to obtain. Call 1-888-WIS-BURN or get your annual permit at the DNR website. The permit is valid for the current calendar year and must be obtained each year.
